Caroline Dinenage

On Friday 23rd January 2015, Caroline Dinenage visited the Home-Start office. High on the agenda was the immediate financial challenge the scheme is facing which was discussed at length with Caroline. She offered some short term solutions and pledged her support to our cause.

The discussion also centered on our valuable unique service that helps to keep families together and improves the outcomes for children in the short and long term.  Also highlighted were the opportunities to local people who choose to volunteer their time at Home-Start and the benefits to their personal development and progression onto training, education or employment.

Caroline was very concerned and wanted to ensure that everything had been done to sustain the scheme in the long term. She offered suggestions that have been taken on board and the Trustees will be moving these forward in the hope that we can continue to have a valuable service to local families for many more years to come.
