Skydiving for Home-Start

Our family support worker Catherine and her mum Christine bravely jumped out of a plane to raise money for us on Bank Holiday Monday.  They funded the jump themselves so all money comes to Home-Start Gosport & Fareham.

It’s not too late to donate on line HERE

Our thanks go to both of them.

Portchester Gala Day

We attended Portchester Gala Day on 17th June to promote our volunteering opportunities.  We had a selection of cakes to attract people to our stall – a cunning plan that worked!  Our volunteers did us proud by supplying cakes, preserves and help on the day.  It was perfect weather and we had a lot of interest.  Thanks go to Portchester Community Association for organising the event.

This photo was taken before the public arrived, it got a lot busier!

Skittles 2017

We had our annual Skittles Evening at the Crofton Pub in Stubbington.  We started the evening with a lovely meal before the competition began.

Arthur won the skittles with an impressive score of 31 and Louise presented him with the trophy.

Ron won the ‘Nearest The Bottle’ game and was very happy with a bottle of Prosecco presented by Debbie.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and we thank the volunteers and trustees for making it a successful evening.
